The Children’s Art Centre in Poznań
We bring together people who share one passion: a passion for art made for children and by children. Our activities are aimed at those who are still learning to walk and talk, those who have made it to crèche or nursery, then to elementary, middle, or secondary school, and finally to university, but also at those who have never lost the thirst and courage for discovering the world and themselves within the world. They all come to us and meet across generational boundaries. We organise a number of cyclical events, many of which have a long- standing tradition. We deal with theatre, film, music, and visual arts, sometimes treating them as separate domains, but usually making them complement each other and form a whole, just like we as individuals get together to form a team.
We are a local government cultural institution which not only believes in its mission, but also realises it every day.

Pinio grows poorly, so his mother gives him a variety of vitamins. One day the annoyed boy pours them into the trunk of a porcelain elephant and the animal suddenly begins to grow! And when it reaches the appropriate elephant size, it comes alive and speaks human voice. Dominik the Elephant turns out to be extremely nice: he leads lively conversations with an ant, confronts some grumbling officials, and takes the whole Pinio’s family on his back on a trip out of town. Soon, however, things start to get complicated.
