Mae roams the streets of Vienna in her dead brother’s Converse shoes. She lives on canned beer, sprays walls, tries her hand at poetry slams. She’s far more interested in extreme experiences than in bourgeois life. When she is sent to an AIDS centre to work off a punishment, she meets and falls in love with Paul. Not resigning from being herself, Mae opens to experiences and emotions she never knew before.
